Outtakes from the road

Here are some outtakes from our road trip that I never really fit into the other blog posts.

During one of our stops in the Keys on the way to Key West I spotted this headline that told me we weren't anywhere else I'd been before. Gator killer? Yikes.

Our favorite exit option near Sam's place in Vero Beach: Yeehaw Junction.

I saw this in one of the gas station shops and thought Josh would get a chuckle. Got distracted and forgot to show him. :)

I was thinking about a "while you were sleeping" category for the guys, but really didn't have enough to make it interesting, so I give it to you in the outtakes. While Josh was sleeping he missed the exits for the Kennedy Space Center (both times)

Oops, wait. Here's a picture of Sam's DVD warmer, I mean cat.

OK, back to while Josh was sleeping. I took this with my phone on the way to pick up Sam. Josh missed the first break in the clouds where I could see hints of blue sky.

And then later when the sun actually came out. I was trying to show it hitting my hand, but it just looks weird. I shared the photo anyway. :)

Oh, and here's what Josh looked like asleep. shhhh...

In Florida, I thought it interesting that ONLY WOMANS could use this restroom.

We stopped at a shell shop on our way out of the keys to pick up some old conch shells (gratefully, Sam told us the conch had been harvested for commercial restaurant use, so we felt like we were recycling in a way. Anyway, I also stopped in the restroom and found this toilet seat to be pretty funny - appropriate for the shop - but amusing nonetheless!
